DESIGNS ON CHAMPAGNE

 

 

Laurent-Perrier’s association with design continues apace with the announcement of four design-led initiatives over the coming months:

 

The Laurent-Perrier Design Award 2005 will be awarded as part of Design Nation’s Eureka, a project linking designers to British retailers and manufacturers and promoting talent and quality in UK design.  This prestigious award will be given to one Eureka designer (chosen by a panel of judges), working to design briefs from top retailers including John Lewis, Watts & Company and Designers Guild.  The winner will be announced during the London Design Festival at the Eureka Private View at Oxo Tower Wharf.  Last year’s Laurent-Perrier Design Award was won by Katy Holford for her Opal Collection Dressing Table Set for Crabtree & Evelyn, which is now being sold in store.

 

Laurent-Perrier will be supporting the opening reception of the 2005 London Design Festival at the National Gallery on Monday 19th September.

 

Laurent-Perrier will sponsor the annual Elle Decoration Design Awards to be held at the Vitra Showroom on Monday 19th September.

 

Laurent-Perrier further strengthens its link with British design by supporting the Next Move Showcase, at the Chelsea Crafts Fair at Chelsea Town Hall.  This will showcase work of new designers supported by the Crafts Council’s incubation programme.  The Fair involves 220 skilled designer-makers who have been chosen by a panel from over 1,000 applicants.
