CHAMPAGNE IS ART

The synergy between art and Champagne continues, as Laurent-Perrier continues to support London’s diverse and dynamic modern and contemporary art scene this year.

The vibrant world of contemporary art has become a major arena for Laurent-Perrier’s prestige cuvée - Grand Siècle - and here’s why:

Frieze Art Fair

Laurent-Perrier is the Official Champagne of Frieze Art Fair

(11-14 October 2007), at the centre of London’s liveliest and most cutting edge art market.

Laurent-Perrier continues to donate funds to the Outset Contemporary Art Fund - an independent organisation uniting artists and cultural enthusiasts in the shared mission of supporting new art. The body is responsible for establishing the The Frieze Art Fair Special Acquisitions Fund, which enables the Tate to acquire major works from Frieze Art Fair, via private and corporate donors such as Laurent-Perrier, a long-standing and growing benefactor.

Public Art Galleries

Laurent-Perrier is the pouring Champagne at the most significant art establishments in London including Sotheby’s, the V&A, the Tate Modern and the Royal Academy of Art’s Summer Exhibition Preview. Guests continue to enjoy a glass of Laurent-Perrier at the celebrated Serpentine Gallery Summer Party (July 2007).

Commercial Spaces

Laurent-Perrier continues to deepen its relationship with commercial galleries in 2007. To date, Laurent-Perrier has supported artist preview parties throughout the year and during Frieze Art Fair season, at Haunch of Venison and White Cube, including the notable Mason’s Yard launch event. For 2007 Laurent-Perrier will also co-host the Lisson Gallery press launch during Frieze.

Laurent-Perrier also supported the unveiling of Conrad Shawcross’s acclaimed installation at the Unilever Building (May 2007).

UK and Worldwide

2007 brings a new partnership with BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art in Gateshead and Newcastle’s Biscuit Factory – the largest commercial art space in Europe. Co-hosted art dinners and consumer evenings will take place throughout the year.

Laurent-Perrier also hosted events at Venice Biennale (June 2007) – a major contemporary art exhibition in Venice, Italy and is also served at Miami Art Basel.

Laurent-Perrier’s elegant and prestigious Grand Siècle Champagne, in its curvaceous black-labelled bottle, represents the pinnacle of champagne blending, calling on wines from the finest growths and the very best vintages - an art in itself.

An independent, family owned champagne house, Laurent-Perrier is renowned worldwide for blending the finest grapes and vintages to produce a range of superb champagnes.
